Dear Neighbor,

On August 12^th, 2025, I voted in Harrisburg in favor of a short-term budget bill that would have immediately funded counties, school districts, hospitals, and others at the same levels as last year’s budget to provide stability to our community partners while the House and Senate continued our bipartisan negotiations on key items. Unfortunately, House Leadership has refused to allow this solution to move forward.

The sooner we can pass a state budget, the better!
