Senator Argall to Host Emergency Services Workshop on May 27

HARRISBURG – Senator Dave Argall (R-29) will host Pennsylvania’s State Fire Commissioner Edward Mann on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Humane Fire Company, 200 Humane Avenue, (intersection of Humane Ave. and W. Race St.) Pottsville, PA 17901.

The workshop is designed to inform emergency medical services personnel, police and fire personnel, and emergency management coordinators of grant opportunities available through the Commonwealth and its agencies.

"Pennsylvania's emergency responders provide life-saving services. They risk their safety to protect our citizens," said Argall. "This workshop will be a valuable opportunity for these public servants to learn ways in which the state can help them do their job."
