Senator Argall to Address 'Generation Next' Student Program Participants

TAMAQUA – State Senator David G. Argall (R-29) will address high school student leaders, representing seven school districts, as part of the Schuylkill Chamber and Schuylkill Vision’s Generation Next Program.

The Generation Next Program brings together high school student leaders from all area school districts to share ideas and learn about their community. During the 2009-2010 academic year, students will visit four Schuylkill County sites to demonstrate the transformation that can take place when dedicated people overcome obstacles to find ways to work together and realize their visions.

"This program gives students a chance to see how real partnerships can be the catalyst for change in our communities," said Argall. "Students will have an opportunity to hear community success stories and gain an appreciation for how their community can be transformed for the better."

The program will be held at the Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) – Tamaqua Campus – 234 High Street, at 11:00 A.M.
