December 3, 2009 - Senator Argall recently hosted a
healthcare forum at Penn State University, Schuylkill Campus, titled
- Reforming Healthcare: The Pennsylvania Perspective, which brought
together representatives from the AFL-CIO, Pennsylvania Chamber of
Business and Industry, Schuylkill Chamber, Hospital and Healthsystem
Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Pennsylvania Association
for Justice, Capitol Blue Cross, and the Schuylkill Alliance for
Healthcare Access to discuss some of the most controversial
healthcare reform initiatives on the state and federal levels.

November 9, 2009 - Senator Argall visited employees and veterans of
Goulds Pumps - ITT Corporation, Ashland, as part of their Veterans
Day Program. Sen. Argall participated in Veterans Day services
throughout the district to honor area men and women who have served
in the Armed Forces.

Food Service representatives to their new facility at Highridge
Industrial Park, Pottsville. As the largest family owned and
operated food service distributor in North America, the facility
brings 25-30 new jobs to Schuylkill County.

hall breakfast meeting" for the residents of the Pine Grove area at
the North End Fire Company. The biggest issues: the urgent need
for genuine tax reform, the state budget, jobs and economic
development. |

November 5, 2009 - Senator Argall visited students
at Pine Grove Elementary School for "Career Week" in Pennsylvania.
The students had the opportunity to become "senators" and
"representatives" and debate the passage of a bill.
