Sen. Argall, medical groups advocate limiting insurer retroactive denials

HARRISBURG – Senator David G. Argall (R-Schuylkill/Berks) will stand with medical professionals to formally introduce legislation that will limit insurers’ ability to retroactively deny reimbursements on Monday, Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. in the Capitol Media Center in Harrisburg.

Senator Argall will be joined by the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Hospital and Healthsystem of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American College of Physicians, and Fresenius Medical Care.

Speaking at the event will be Senator Argall, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society President Thomas Muzzonigro, M.D., and Edward L. Nielsen, M.H.S., who serves as Executive Vice President of the Pennsylvania Chiropractic Association.
